In the sex-crazed world that we live in, virginity apparently has a huge monetary value. While most people give it up for free, Natalie Dylan decided to take it down another path and make herself a millionaire by losing her virginity. A 22 year old California college grad, she sold her virginity for an amazing $3.7 million. By the end of the heated bidding run, she had 10,000 bidders aiming at taking her ‘purity’, with the final bid reaching in the millions. Prostitution is legal in California, so she wasn’t breaking any laws – but it’s a crazy thing to do that will stay connected to her name forever!

In one of the most brilliant marketing ploys to have ever happened in the World Wide Web, this scheme landed the creator a million dollars easily. The idea was simple – create a page with one million pixels and sell each pixel at $1. Advertisers came by the mass to the website, knowing of its potential to go viral. Each advertiser could decide the amount of pixels they wanted, and at $1 apiece, it was pretty cheap per ad. The creator got huge amount of publicity, and it was worth the investment for the advertisers as they got tons of valuable advertisement for years!
